Purpose of this project is to demonstrate using Visual Studio 2012 and C# with Atmel chip on a Arduino UNO board.

Arduino is a single-board microcontroller to make using electronics in multidisciplinary projects more accessible. The hardware consists of an open-source hardware board designed around an 8-bit Atmel AVR microcontroller, or a 32-bit Atmel ARM.

Visual Studio 2012 setup

Step 1. Install Arduino IDE http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software

Step 2: Install Arduino for Visual Studio and Atmel Studio https://visualmicro.codeplex.com/

Step 3: Setup Visual Studio and select COM port

Step 4: Open example C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\examples\02.Digital\BlinkWithoutDelay\BlinkWithoutDelay.ino

Step 5: Press F5 to upload code to Arduino board.
